In over thirty years of activity, Itama has constructed and capitalized on a firm identity based on vast engineering experience and a unique style in this genre. Starting from 2004, Itama is a member of the Ferretti Group, a major international concern that has succeeded in skilfully enhancing the brand’s strong points and relaunching its leading role as an Italian style ambassador to the world. Itama is now ready to face the challenge of an important new season, focusing on an attentive optimization of this classic brand’s precious qualities as well as on wide-ranging expansion and a new drive to constantly develop every aspect of the company’s production and services.
History
Blue and white photography. It was the year 1969 when Mario Amati, the original founder and designer of the Itama adventure, gave form to a dream he had cherished for years: the idea of creating a range of extraordinarily agile and powerful, latest generation motoryachts. Motoryachts with a very special added value: timeless style. Even the name of the brand has a simple yet evocative origin, it comes from reading the word "Amati" backwards. This is how the story of the shipyard began, a story that was to prove an immediate success as the yachts reached cult status and even in the early 1970s the brand had already conquered a host of admirers. These admirers, many of whom came from the international jet set were won over by the elegance of Itama’s sleek shapes and the tried and tested reliability of the technology onboard. But what they loved most was the refined and distinctive character of the white and blue open yachts, boasting sober and balanced class in every detail.
